- ItemTecnociencia en el siglo XXI desde una perspectiva filosófica(2013-06-30)Situar la tecnociencia desde la perspectiva filosófica, es entender que esta ha de pasar por el discurso no solo del mundo, también del cibermundo. De lo que se trata no es de un pensamiento disyuntivo, simple, también sistémico. Esta visión filosófica sistémica, descarta la tecnociencia como disciplina encerrada en la verdad y la totalidad, y se sitúa en la convergencia de la nanotecnología, la biotecnología informática y las ciencias cognitivas. En tal sentido, la filosofía en este siglo XXI ha de entrar en la divulgación del conocimiento científico, en una compleja relación sistémica que implica una teoría del sujeto, del lenguaje, del discurso, de la cultura, de la sociedad y de la cibernética.
- ItemLa Nación Dominicana en la Era del Cibermundo(2013)Situar la sociedad dominicana en este siglo XXI nos plantea la búsqueda de estrategias de indagaciones complejas; esto es así porque los dominicanos entramos en varias formaciones sociales, económicas, políticas y culturales, que van desde la premodernización hasta la postmodernización, caracterizada por el mundo digital o cibermundo.
- ItemMethodological discrepancies in the Teaching/assessment of EFL at the High School level in the Dominican Republic System,(2016)Discrepancies between the processes of Teaching and Assessment of English of the Middle Level. Dr. Pedro Tavárez DaCosta: 2016. Freelance Researcher, for the Regional Office of Education 11-02 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Teacher's Evaluation / Evaluation Criteria / Summative and Formative Evaluation / Program for Evaluation Improvement in Language Teaching. This research work consisted in the implementation of a plan in which, by way of treatment, it was possible to improve the levels of assessment competences of the foreign language, of the non-qualified teachers of English of the middle level, Districts 11-01 and 11-02 of the Regional of Education of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic The purpose of this process was to solve the discrepancies detected between the teaching processes and evaluation of the same. In order to carry out this project, the group of these new teachers was submitted to a pre-test or diagnostic test, in order to determine their previous capacities. They were then given an induction course to assess English according to the parameters of the so-called communicative language approach, which lasted 10 weeks and was developed in 120 hours. At the end of the process they were given a second test or post-test, which resulted in an increase of 81.25%, as an expression of the improvements obtained in the evaluation competencies of the participants. It is hoped that these achievements will contribute to the formulation of similar programs in other educational and regional districts of the country, given the national nature of the tested problem.
- ItemCompetences of Dominican College Students in the Comprehension of superstructure and macrostructure of expositive texts.(2017)The objective of this research is to determine the competences of students of Basic Spanish Language II (Let. 012) in the comprehension of the superstructure and macrostructure of expository texts, in two college Campuses; the UASD San Francisco de Macorís Campus, and the UASD Bonao Campus for the semester 2015-2. The theory is based on the concepts: superstructure and semantic macro-structure, (van Dijk, 1983); Mechanisms of global scheme and thematic progression (Calsamiglia and Tusón, 1999); The expository text (Álvarez, 2004); And text compression by Aguillon and Palencia (2004). The study is located within the framework of nonexperimental descriptive research with a quantitative approach. After the implementation of an intervention plan on such procedures for sociodemographic aspects and written comprehension, students were asked to read both expository texts and complete an instrument validated by experts in the area of Linguistics, in which they demonstrated the skills to understand those texts. The results indicate that they are able to identify the introduction of the expository text and identify the topic of the expository text; However, fail to establish coherence relations in the texts they analyze.
- ItemLa Globalización del Cibermundo(2017-07-30)La mundialización, que despegó con el homo sapiens hace miles de años por el planeta Tierra, ha creado redes de interconexiones sociales, económicas, culturales y tecnológicas, que nos han dado el mundo y el cibermundo global. La globalización tiene su génesis. Es un proceso que recoge diferentes periodos de la humanidad, no es un producto dado de una época, no es moda pasajera o estrategia inventada por los capitalistas o el imperio norteamericano para ocultar las relaciones de dominación de las principales potencias económicas del mundo. A pesar de que en estos tiempos abundan los conflictos sociales locales y globales, como el enamoramiento de Rusia con Asia y su divorcio con los Estados Unidos y la Unión Europea, así como los procesos independentistas que han brotado en Escocia, Cataluña y otras regiones del mundo, repensar la globalización cobra importancia, no solo por su implicación en el mundo, sino por la emergencia del mundo digital o el cibermundo, con sus redes de conectividad virtual.
